User Management

For a person to access and perform Activities in the DPM, the user must be defined for this person in the DPM system, and this user should have a Corporate Role assigned to it.
The authorized user selects User Management menu option under the Admin menu to manage users and privileges for the DPM system.

The list of existing users is displayed. For each user, the user ID, username and email are shown. In the Corporate Role column, the list of Corporate Roles assigned to this user is displayed. Each user can have multiple Corporate Roles, and the functionality assigned to the user reflects the sum of all options enabled under each assigned role.

Create a New User

Use the image button to add a user to the system. The “Create New User” screen is displayed.

Username

The distinct name for the user.

Password

M

Defines the user-directed secure characters to log in to the system. This field is displayed only on the new user screen.

User Full Name

The name this user is to be represented in the system.

Email

The email of the user. The email address is used when a Task reminder is configured and the user selects the target user to receive the task reminder email.  

Corporate Roles

O

This field allows the user to select from available roles to assign to the user.

Edit or Delete a User

Use the image button to delete a User. Use the image button to edit the name, email address and Corporate Roles assigned to a User.
